Joseph M. Saffioti has extensive general practice experience, with a concentration in residential and commercial real estate, real estate planning and development, business and corporate organization, estate planning and commercial litigation. Representative projects for his clients include business organization, subdivision acquisition and development, and commercial litigation principally evolving from real estate and business transactions. Mr. Saffioti has served as counsel to the Town of Newburgh Planning Board and regularly advises clients on zoning and planning matters before local planning and zoning boards and county and state agencies regulating land use applications. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Association.
A lifelong Newburgh resident, Joe attended Newburgh schools and graduated from Albany State University with honors in 1981. While in Albany, he served as a full-time legislative intern to the N.Y.S. Assembly. Joe received his law degree from Buffalo Law School, graduating with honors in 1984. He resides in Newburgh with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Isabella.
